Carnforth Karate Club was started back in 2008 by Sensei Chris Haggan. It formed a sister club to St. Martins Junior Karate Club in Hest Bank. Chris started his journey in karate at St. Martins Junior Karate Club, along with Sensei Paul Turner, who both trained under Sensei Jack Parker (RIP).
Jack had a big influence on both Paul and Chris, along with so many other students who trained and progressed to black belt at the club. The aim of the club is to keep the high standards that Jack set out way back in 1985 when he first opened his club.
